Return Policy — Côté Cuir Leather

Information and Conditions

  • If you are unsatisfied with one of our products, we will gladly issue a refund within 30 days of delivery, or until January 10 for items purchased as Christmas gifts.
  • If the hat feels too large, note that you can adjust the size using the buckle at the back or the Velcro band inside.

Returned items must be unworn, unaltered, and in their original condition and packaging.

  • Gift cards are non-refundable.
  • A partial refund may be applied if an item is returned damaged, incomplete, or beyond the 30-day window.
  • For exchanges, please make a return and place a new order on our website.

Refund Processing

Once we receive your return, it will be inspected. Refunds are issued within 5 business days to the original payment method or by gift card according to your preference. Shipping costs are non-refundable. You’ll receive an email once your refund has been processed. Please allow 3–8 business days for it to appear on your card statement.

Important: Refusing a package does not constitute a return. It is not recommended and may result in additional costs. You assume the risk if the package is not returned to us. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for details.

Return Options by Region

Canada

We offer a prepaid return label for $11 CAD (deducted from your refund) or you may choose to return the item at your own expense. In both cases, you must initiate your return through our Online Return Portal.

United States

We provide a prepaid return label for $13 USD, deducted from your refund.

Other Countries

Customers outside Canada and the U.S. must return items at their own expense using their national postal service. Please include a tracking number and indicate “Returned goods – no commercial value” on the customs declaration to avoid additional duties.

How to Make a Return

  1. Access the Online Return Portal.
  2. Enter your order number and email, then click “Find your order.”
  3. Click the blue “Create a Return” button.
  4. Select the item(s) you wish to return and click “Next.”
  5. Select Refund and continue.
  6. Choose the reason for your return. You may add comments or photos if the product is damaged, then submit your request.
  7. Your request will be reviewed and approved within 24–48 business hours. You will then receive an email with instructions and your label.
  8. You will receive email updates at each step of the process.
  9. You can check the progress of your return anytime in the Online Return Portal.
