Davy Crockett real fur hat for kids, made of genuine recycled raccoon fur with a real tail.

This trapper hat for boys or girls is perfect for your little adventurer who thinks he's a backwoods boy like Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone.

This iconic and one-of-a-kind hat is made from genuine recycled raccoon fur.

It will keep any kid's head warm with style and panache.

  • The ears and neck cover can be worn down or folded up inside the hat.
  • You have the choice to take the hat with or without ear cover.
  • A velcro strip inside allows the hat to be tightened as needed.
  • Authentic Davy Crockett kids' raccoon fur hat

    The recycled fur allows the recycling of good second-hand fur coats and protects furry animals from exploitation.

    ►► The raccoon fur color may vary a little from pictures and the size and length of the tail may also vary, we work with natural and unique materials and that's the beauty of each product.

    MATERIALS: recycled fur (Fur cleaned and smells good). Recycled fur comes from fur coats. The lining is made of a very soft, non-irritating black woollen fabric that will keep you warm.

    ** The ages mentioned are only a guide, we recommend measuring the kid's head since some have a larger head than others. Consider that on average, kids' heads grow 2 cm (3/4") between 1 and 2 years old, 1 cm (3/8") between 2 and 3 years old and then 0.5 cm (1/4") per year.

    * Measure the head size:

    - Use a soft tape measure and start from the bottom of the forehead, just over eyebrows and past it around your head at the widest part.

    - If you don't have a soft tape measure, you can take a string or a rope that is not elastic and after going around your head you put it on the table and measure with a construction tape measure or a ruler.

    - Don’t take the measurement loose or very tight, but snug.

    - Take the measurement 2-3 times to be sure it is correct.

    - If you are between two sizes, take the larger one and consider that the kid's head will grow like mentioned below the size tab.

    - If you have questions on which size to choose or anything else, you can ask us and we will help you.
